Vipers head coach Jorge Miguel Da Costa released a final list of 18 players that have travelled to South Africa on Friday Morning.
Costa dropped forward Tonny Odur who failed to make it to the final squad with the Portuguese tactician opting for Erisa Ssekisambu, Francis Onekalit and Milton Karisa has his strikers.
Odur who came on a substitute in the 1-0 victory against Platinum stars last week has in the recent times dropped in the pecking order with Karisa used as the false number nine in most cases.
However Costa indicated that he did not drop Odur because he is not a good player but rather he was spoilt for choice.
The other players left behind include Musa Esenu, Alfred Leku, Ibrahim Kayiwa and youngster Pius “Mzee” Wangi.
Erisa Ssekisambu and Brian Nkuubi who limped off in the first leg returned in time and have been training with the rest of the team while left back Aggrey Madoi who missed the game at St.Mary’s stadium after losing his father also returns and has been named in the travelling squad.
Vipers carry a 1-0 slim advantage I’m the second leg after winning the first leg at St. Mary’s stadium courtesy of Milton Karisa’s goal.
The return leg is slated for this Saturday at the Royal Bafokerg stadium at 20:00hrs(EAT) under floodlights.
