With not so many options to pick from for reliable internet connections, numerous small and medium business enterprises in Uganda have of late been investing in finding more affordable internet plans to help keep them afloat.
Companies and individuals with heavy data usage, who depend primarily on internet, have in many ways been affected by data plans in the country that are not only expensive but also time limited.
A new entrant in the industry East African Broadband Services- EABS however, seems determined to change this trend.
The Ntinda based company has re-introduced unlimited broadband internet access at much more affordable costs.
One of the company customers Gerald Jakira says his home connection from EABS is the best thing that has happened to his household.
“I have managed to save a lot of money from purchase of 4G bundles and every one at home uses internet freely without any worries that the bundles will run out,” he says. “My children no longer bother me with internet.”
EABS head of marketing Mr. Roland Uhuru says “We are committed to offering worry-free home and business solutions to our customers.
“We also give bandwidth on demand especially for customers who may not have budgets to maintain bigger capacities like small hotels that may require upgrading when hosting meetings and then go back to their original capacity after the meeting.”
