A Ugandan diplomat has died under mysterious circumstances during a flight back home, Chimp Corps report.
Ambassador Njuneki who has been in charge of Special Duties at Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kampala passed away on Friday night while flying through South Africa.
It is understood Njuneki, who was well known for his infectious tumor, had traveled to attend a conference in Sweden.
“He just died in his sleep. He was found dead on his chair,” said a source.
Ministry of Foreign Officials were not readily available for comment on Saturday night.
The incident comes almost a year after Gen Aronda Nyakairima was found dead on flight while travelling from South Korea.
