President Yoweri Museveni has arrived in Berlin, Germany where he is expected to attend the Africa-Germany Business Day and interact with potential investors, Chimp Corps report.

The Presidential jet touched down at a Germany airbase in the morning hours of Thursday.

Presidential Press Secretary, Linda Nabusayi said Museveni will deliver a keynote address at the business forum and later hold meetings with the Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development, Dr Gerd Müller.

He will as well meet with about six companies in Berlin at the Ellington Hotel.

“Tomorrow, the President will deliver another keynote address to German chamber of commerce and hold several trade and investment meetings in Harmburg,” said Nabusayi.

Museveni’s address will rotate around peace and stability as a condition for economic development.

His address is expected to address these questions: What are the stabilizers of Africa? What positive effects have been observed in recent years? How regional economic communities have on political stability?

The President has in recent months stepped up his foreign trips to attract investors with the view of creating employment opportunities for the young people in Uganda.

Officials believe high youth unemployment rates and frustration could cultivate ground for political instability.
