The media fraternity and residents of Kabale district are mourning the death of former WBS Television and DWtv presenter Osbert Karugaba.
Karugaba who was among the pioneer presenters at WBS TV in the 2000s died at Rugarama hospital after being rushed there with acute diabetes related ailment.
He was pronounced dead only a few hours after arrival at the health facility.
At WBS he was presenting the Showtime Magazine that is currently done by Straka Mwezi.
Karugaba commonly known as Ozi, after quitting the media some few years ago went into private business in the tourism sector.
At the time of his demise he was constructing a hotel in the south western district, which was to be named Lake Bunyonyi Mountain Resort.
