
Uganda Cranes forward Hamis “Diego” Kiiza has officially sealed a contract agreement to join Sudanese giants Al Hilal El Obeid.
The deal was made public on Tuesday evening with Kiiza’s agent, Sulaiman Mutyaba confirming the agreement.
“We have agreed with Al Hilal and Kiiza will now join them after going through the medical and paper work,” he said.
According to Mutyaba, Kiiza joins the Sudanese side on a one year deal and he will be available for selection in their next game.
“He joins them on a one year deal and will be available starting 24th May when they will be playing their Total CAF champions league game,” Mutyaba revealed.
Kiiza joins Al Hilal after a short stint at URA FC in the Uganda Premier League where he joined in January scoring 8goals in 13 games (All competitions).
The diminutive energetic forward had had his contract at South Africa’s Free State Town FC terminated in January and returned home before making another move.
Kiiza has formerly featured for Nalubaale, URA FC, Simba and Yanga FC in Tanzania.
