Nakawa Grade one Magistrate Noah Ssajabbi has committed murder suspects Mathew Kanyamunyu, his girlfriend Cynthia Munwangari and brother Joseph Kanyamunyu to High Court for trial.
The trio is accused of murdering social worker, Kenneth Akena at Lugogo late last year.
On Tuesday, the state prosecutor Doreen Erima told court that investigations in the murder are complete and asked for the file to be sent to High Court.
“The DPP has asked to have the accused committed to High Court for trial,” Erima told court on Tuesday.
The magistrate then allowed state to read part of the indictment in which Joseph Kanyamunyu is accused of a second offence of picking the pistol used to murder Akena from the car park and hid it.
