Coach Milutin Sredojevic has released a strong team that will start the world cup group E tie against Ghana’s Black startle in Tamale.
Team captain Geoffrey Massa has been dropped to the bench while dependable goalie Dennis Onyango reclaims his position in between the sticks after sitting out during Tuesday’s 1-0 loss to Togo in an international friendly in Lome.
Murshid Jjuko and Isaac Isinde continue their parntership in the two center back positions while Joseph Ochaya also returns to the first team in the left back.
Nicholas Wadada who was impressive against Comoros continues his duty in the right back position while Dennis Iguma is pushed to a more advanced role to provide more cover for the back line.
Mid maestro Tonny Mawejje and Khalid Aucho’s formidable partnership has been deployed to man the midfield zone as Farouk Miya, Moses Oloya and William Luwagga Kizito’s main task is to create chances.
The game kicks of at exactly 4:30 pm in Ghana about 6:30 pm local time in Uganda.
