Buganda Road chief magistrate Jamson Karemani has committed to High Court former CPS Kampala DPC Aaron Baguma and his three co-accused persons, for their trial of murdering former businesswoman Dona Katushabe.
Baguma was committed together with Kitayimbwa Yoweri, Damaseni Sentongo and Oduttu Shaban, bringing to nine the number of people accused in this case.
Among these is the proprietor of the Pine Car Bond Muhamad Sebuuufu who is currently on remand in Luzira Prison with five others.
Baguma was brought on handcuffs to court at around 9am in a Prisons Double Cabin pickup from Kigo Prison in company of Prisons officers, and was led straight to court cells.

In a fully packed court, State Attorney Jonathan Muwaganya revealed that investigations in the matter are complete and thus requested the magistrate to commit them to High Court for trial.
The Chief Magistrate did just that, and further remanded the accused, pending trial in the High court.
He also advised them if they needed bail, to apply for it at the High Court as their file would be forwarded there in the shortest time possible.

One of the accused persons Shaban Oduttu who came to court walking with a clutch, with cuffs on both his legs and arms asked court to help him access treatment.
He complained of pain in his private parts but the magistrate ordered the Prisons authorities to treat him in their facilities since they have the capacity.
The DPP is expected to adduce before High Court the evidence linking the suspects to the murder of Katushabe, who was allegedly beaten to death after she failed to fully complete a car purchase at the Pine car bond.
