A Police officer, one of those that sustained injuries during Sunday evening’s attacks on Gulu’s main Police Station has passed on.
Assistant Superintendent of Police Moses Masaba died Monday evening at Lacor Hospital according to a brief announcement from Police.
“We have lost ASP Masaba Moses. He succumbed to gunshot injuries sustained last night during the Gulu attacks,” they tweeted.
This brings to two the number of victims of the assault buy armed men on the government security installation; the second in a couple of weeks.
ASP Masaba who police described as a fallen hero, was the Regional Fire Officer for Aswa and was the Senior Duty Officer on the night of the attacks.
Tension is still on the rise in the northern town as police and the army continue to hunt down for more of the people invalided in the deadly attack.
