Hundreds poured this morning at Panamera Bar in Naguru to take part in a car wash fund raising drive to save Carol Atuhairwe who is battling cancer.
Companies, small and big, government departments and institutions, musicians as well as individuals turned up in big numbers and enthusiastically embraced the activity.
Carol needs at least Shs. 270million to undergo an operation in the US to have her throat reconstructed and also to examine whether there’s any cancer left in her.”
Carol’s Sister Jacqueline Atugarurirwe while speaking to Chimpreports at Panamera today appreciated Ugandans from different walks of life for supporting their sister.
“I have no words to say, we are humbled and overwhelmed by the turn up for the car wash campaign to save Carol’s life,” Atugarurirwe said.
“May God reward their love and their contributions; the companies, musicians, politicians… we are so grateful and we cannot thank you enough,” she said.
She appealed to other cancer patients to have faith and be positive. This she said is what has helped Carol and kept her going for five years
