Police in Mbarara have arrested two other people in connection with the murder of a student of Mbarara High School.
The arrested are Juma Sentongo and Hamza Agaba, both residents of Ruharo ward in Mbarara municipality.
Police says they have been trailing the two since last year when they allegedly used machetes to kill a Senior Six vacist while he was coming from a cinema hall in Kiyanja Mbarara.
The deceased, Linux Nagaba was a resident of Biafra Cell in Kiyanja Ward, Kamukuzi Division.
His body was found in a pool of blood at Kiyanja market where the assailants attacked him.
The DPC Mbarara Jaffar Magyezi says the assailants have been elusive until this week.
Other suspects in the murder, the DPC says, are already on remand at Kyamugorani prisons.
He urged the parents to always take children to school and also teach them good morals to reduce on the rampant crimes.
“This year alone we have we have arrested 15 young children involved in capital offences like murder, rape and defilement which shows that parents have really shunned away from their role of proper upbringing of their children,” he Magyezi said.
The DPC said 2 other suspects in the murder of the student are still on the run and being hunted.
