FUS Rabat vs KCCA FC
Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club (KCCA FC) will be seeking for a perfect start to the group stage of the Total CAF Confederation Cup.
Uganda’s representatives, KCCA FC who are in group A begin the campaign against Faith Union Sport (FUS) Rabat on Saturday at the complex Sportif Prince Heritier Moulay Ol Hassan.
Team manager Mike Hillary Mutebi is confident his side can ably compete and earn a positive result.
“We are into the group stage not by mistake and therefore as we start the group phase against FUS Rabat, our target will be seeking for a perfect start,” he stated.
KCCA FC go into the game with a depleted squad missing several key players that didn’t travel with the team to Morocco.
Muzamir Mutyaba is still sidelined with a shoulder injury while Paul Mucureezi also suffered a thigh injury and didn’t travel with the team.
Additionally, team captain Dennis Okot Oola and goalkeeper Benjamin Ochan are suspended after accumulating cards.
Youngster Allan Okello is also not available due to engagements with Kibuli SS at the ongoing national post primary school competition.
However, new signing Saddam Ibrahim Juma is expected to earn his debut today.
KCCA FC are in group A alongside FUS Rabat, Club Africain and Rivers United.
