Onduparaka needed an extra effort to edge past a resilient Water in the round of 16 game played at the greenlight stadium, Arua on Sunday.
With the two sides settling for a barren score at halftime, it seemed harder for last year’s runners up to break down Water until the final quarter of the game.
The Caterpillars surged up to score goals in the closing 15 minutes of the game through Ceasar Okhuti and Rashid Agau.
Okhuti broke the deadlock in the 75th minute before second half substitute Rashid Agau who had replaced Dickens Okwi doubled the lead four minutes later to help Onduparaka advance to the quarterfinals.

The game played in Nakisunga,Mukono ended 1-1 in normal time but Police won the tense penalty shootout 9-8.
