Inspector General of Police Gen Kale Kayihura has Wednesday appointed AIGP Asan Kasingye, to take over from murdered AIGP Andrew Felix Kaweesi as the police Force’s Spokesperson.
In a handwritten notice to all units, Kayihura, also appointed Kasingye as the Police force’s Chief Political Commissar.
Kasingye has been serving as the country Director of the International Police (INTERPOL).
This position will now be assumed by AIGP Fred Yiga in the new changes which take immediate effect.
