
Death has robbed Kabale Municipality of its Deputy Town Clerk Reuben Ntegyereize.
Joseph Kimbowa the Kabale Town Clerk confirmed the death of his deputy, who passed passed on Tuesday morning at Nsambya Hospital in Kampala, where he has been admitted with throat cancer since December last year.
Kimbowa says the news was received with shock, saying his death is a big loss to the municipality, owing to his vast experience as one of the longest serving civil servants in the municipality.
Ntegyereize was born on 9th October 1962 in Bikinda Rukiga county Kabale district.
Before his appointment as the deputy town in 2012 by the then town clerk Augustine Rukiika Bujara he was working as the municipal development officer.
He also in the late 1990s worked as the acting town clerk as well as the municipal lands officer.
