SC Villa vs Lweza

SC Villa head coach Shafik Bisaso has one option at offer to save his job and that’s to pick maximum points against Lweza on Saturday.
After a dismal start to the second round which has seen the club pick just two points in 2 games (0-0 vs Bright stars and 1-1 vs JMC), SC Villa President, Eng. Ben Misagga issued a one match ultimatum to coach Bisaso.
In the same breath, Ibrahim Kirya the head coach at Lweza is in a similar situation like Bisaso. Anything less than a win could earn him a sack according to reliable sources within the club.
Lweza have lost the opening two games of the second round and increasingly move closer to relegation.
Grounded at 12th position on the table, the Orange brigade have 18 points, just two adrift the drop zone.
Kirya however blames the poor results on lack of coordination within the team given the fact that it is virtually a new team assembled.
“It is true we are struggling but I would entirely put that on lack of coordination. Most of the players are new so you need more time for then to jell together,” he said.
“This time of the season is tricky because everyone is fighting for points but we shall put our bodies on the line to make sure we pick positive results against SC Villa,” Kirya added.
Despite losing ground in the title run, SC Villa have a chance to dislodge KCCA FC at the summit if they win.
Victory for the blues will move them to 36 points, one ahead of KCCA FC albeit with two games more.
SC Villa boasts of a better head to head against Lweza unbeaten in the five league meetings. (Won 4 and Drawn once).
