KCCA FC continue their league title defense with a home fixture against BUL FC at the Philip Omondi Stadium in Lugogo.
The reigning champions still maintain a perfect 7-0-0 record at home and they will be banking on that form as they prepare to kick start their Caf champions league campaign later in the week.
Despite lying in the unwanted zone, the Jinja side has proved a hard nut away. The team has lost only one of the last six games, and in those, four are draws. Bul Has won two of the last three games between the duo.
Coach Mike Mutebi reaffirms that his side is not under any pressure to perform but will approach the match with caution.
“Theirs is no pressure to perform,” Mutebi noted. “The game won’t be easy at all because they have recruited experienced players who can change games.”
BUL FC pushed their captain Augustine Nsumba to the reserve team and released about nine players. Youngster Milutin Kalisa was sold to Vipers SC. Coach Anyau says his side is ready to stand up.
“Everyone knows our position, we also understand the situation. But the team is very ready and prepared to find the right rythm,” Anyau said.
The match kicks off at 4 pm.
