Uganda cranes head coach Milutin Sredojevic “Micho” has dropped four more players from camp as the team heads to Tunisia.

Defender Ronald Mukiibi, goalkeeper Ismael Watenga, midfielder Vitalis Tabu and striker Derrick Nsibambi have been dropped.

Mukiibi who plies his trade with Ostersunds FK in Sweden has failed to make the final cut with Micho sticking to the already tested Isaac Isinde and Jjuko Murushid.

Timothy Awany who plays for KCCA makes the squad to Tunisia as the third center back while Viper’s Hassan Wasswa can also be played as a makeshift defender.

Mukiibi suffered a thigh injury at the start of last week missing some training sessions but the technical team kept monitoring him.

However, he has been one of the four players dropped after today’s training at IUIU female campus in Kabojja.

The other players dropped include Vipers goalkeeper Ismael Watenga leaving the number of goalkeepers in the camp at four with Salim Jamal, Robert Odongkara, Dennis Onyango and Benjamin Ochan.

Midfielder Abdumalik Vitalis Tabu and KCCA striker Derrick Nsibambi have also been dropped.

The team travels from Kampala to Tunisia on Friday (today) with 23 players while three other players will join the team in Tunis.

These are Oloya Moses, William Luwagga Kizito and Robert Odongkara.

Cranes will play a buildup game against Tunisia on 4th January before heading to Dubai where they will play two more build up games against Slovakia and Ivory Coast on 8th January and 11th January respectively.

3 more players will be dropped after the friendly against Tunisia to make a grand total of 23 players that will represent Uganda in Gabon.

Yasser Mugerwa who was earlier summoned was also dropped.
