
UPDF’s Maj. General Julius Oketta who died on Saturday was finally laid to rest at his home in Lachor, Gulu Municipality on Wednesday afternoon.
The funeral attracted many political figures both from the region, national and local leaders who converged to pay their last respects to late who passed away while serving as the Deputy Chairperson of the military led Operation Wealth Creation.
The Church service was led by Gulu Diocese’s Archbishop John Baptist Odama who appealed to mourners to emulate the late whom he described as a true servant of Christ during his time on earth.
