Jailed Nakawa Municipality Mp Hon Michael Kabaziguruka has promised his constituents that he will continue representing their views in Parliament regardless of the huddles that kept him out for three months.
Kabaziguruka was this afternoon freed on bail by the High Court Judge Justice Yasin Nyanzi, after the DDP declined to participate in his application for bail.
The Legislator, left the High Court sandwiched by dozens of his supporters, while flashing his FDC party sign.
Kabaziguruka upon release addressed the media, expressing gratitude to everyone that stood by him until he gained this temporary freedom.

“I thank the Lord Mayor of Kampala Erias Lukwago, Hon Kasibante Moses, Hon Semujju Nganda, Maj Gen Mugisha Muntu, My lawyers, my electorate, my relatives especially my brothers who have been visiting me regularly in Kigo and all who have done whatever is possible to have me out of prison” Kabaziguruka remarked.
The MP reassured his electorate that he is still the same person he was before going to jail. He promised to spend the first days of his freedom meeting and speaking to his people in Nakawa.

“For now I have a few to say but I will be communicating my other programs later,” he added.
Kabaziguruka was later driven home by the Leader of Opposition Hon Winnie Kiiza.
Kabaziguruka is expected to be reporting back to High court registry every after 14 days starting 5th November 2016.
