Pressure on league leaders KCCA FC had continued to pile up after struggling to a one all draw in a chaotic Uganda Premier League match played at the Bugembe stadium.
Joseph Ochaya tapped in Muzamir Mutyaba’s 20th minute freekick to give the defending champions an early lead but was short lived after Wakalaita converted a penalty two minutes later.
Kasonko fouled Mucureezi at the left side of the hosts 18-yard box leading to the foul. The Jinja boys pushed the champions to their half immediately after restart and the pressure yielded in the 22nd minute when Kirabira handled the ball inside his box wuthbthe referee pointing to the centre.
Wakalaita sent the ball beyond Ochan’s reach with his first goal since returning to the School from BUL FC.
Mutebi’s boys were frustrated with the largely inexperienced boys who opted to amuse the crowds while pressing in KCCA’s half with quick successive counter attacks.
Changes.
Mutebi was forced to introduce Nigerian import Sulaimon Akinyemi after the breather to add numbers in the midfield. He later withdraw Robert Ssentongo for left winger Brian Majwega and in the 79th minute pulled off Sserunkuma for another veteran Kayizzi.
The changes were ineffective as the dogged hosts maintained their tempo with the rhythm from the stands and even closed near a winner but Wakalaita was twice unable to bury chances after beating the offside trap.

Derrick Nsibambi’s last minute strike was cancelled by the referee after he ruled a foul against Kirinya SS defender George Kasonko and the goalie Mutakubwa before the strike.
The ruling angered the KCCA FC bench and the fans who went mad on the match officials assaulting them after the final whistle. Police were forced to fire teargas canisters to calm down the situation that was getting out of hand after the home side retaliated.
KCCA remain top of the table while Kirinya move a step above the red zone with seven points.
